The Resources section provides a number of brochures and reports about the MEGA-SkY program.
What we do
MEGA‐SkY’s focus is to create educational and skill building opportunities for marginalized children and youth especially within the Muslim community. Launched in 2009, MEGA (Minority Education for Growth and Advancement) operates at the formal and non‐formal levels to facilitate access to quality educational opportunities among Muslim children and youth, and to establish linkages within the learning environment for the acquisition of livelihood and life skills. At the policy level, SkY (Skills for Youth) works to incubate and replicate successful private sector vocational programs, as well as to support Government of India employment and education policies that smartly align the skill sets of young people with employer opportunities.
Who we are
MEGA-SkY is made possible through support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and is implemented by Education Development Center, Inc (EDC) and partner, International Youth Foundation (IYF).
Where we are
MEGA-SkY operates in four states across India: Bihar, Delhi, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.
